BACKGROUND

Hailing from Colorado, Warbonnet Outdoors is a family-owned business created in a one-car garage in 2008. Their belief that people should be comfortable whether they are relaxing in their backyard in a hammock or off on a month long adventure. Warbonnet hand sews lightweight camping shelters with precision.

CHALLENGE

Warbonnet was outgrowing their current shopping cart system. They needed a new website with a new eCommerce engine built quickly and without interruption to existing client orders. Each of their products have two-level variations where the product choice is followed by a choice and then depending on that selection another choice was presented. They also needed integration with their shipping and fulfillment platform and complex tax rules setup.

Dynamic Shipping CalculatorA dynamic shipping calculator allows Warbonnet to set rules on how to calculate shipping. Is it by weight, units, distance, or flat-rate? All options are available. The system also integrates their website orders to their backend fulfillment system. One smooth process from order to fulfillment.

Consumers expect certain features when purchasing online. They want to be able to see details of the product, customize their products, and leave reviews. Leaving off features that most would consider basic creates a negative perception.

DESIGNED FOR ANY DEVICE

We designed the Warbonnet website to be responsive to various device resolutions. There is one version of the website that recognizes the resolution of the device it’s being viewed on, and automatically adjusts all of the text, photos, and menus to be optimal for that particular resolution. This means our client didn’t have to pay for a separate mobile version of the website to ensure that their site would be effective across multiple devices.
